From what I noticed on Goodreads, you are either going to like this book, or not. But for me, it was a go. Before I'd known it, I read to page 100. And if I hadn't popped an Ambien upon reading, I could've easily finished in one setting. If you are looking for a quick, cryptic young adult contemporary book, then you may want to pick this one up. There are clique status quos and deceiving characters all up in this book. Natalie reminded me of quite a few girls in high school. They wanted the lead and they put on a persona they really didn't have. What they really had was some drama. It doesn't necessarily mean they were bad or mean people. They just built a façade to escape their reality. But Natalie wanted something so bad, that something very bad happened. And payback's a bitch, all wrapped in a pretty package of insanity. And all that drama soup is what caused me to stir up them pages chock full of conspiracy, manipulation, suspense and gossip, leaving me with an after taste of could it be this? Or could it be that? Did she do it? Oh no he didn't! Then there's an ending you didn't see coming. Don't mess with fate.
